Marker Seven today announced it received the prestigious “Best in Class” honor from the 2010 Interactive Media Awards (IMA) in the “Web Design/Development Category” for its new Website www.markerseven.com.
“Our Website showcases our approach, as well as our technical capabilities, to help companies convey their brand online,” said John Clauss. “It’s very gratifying that a prestigious organization such as the IMA has recognized and acknowledged our creative talent and expertise.”
Last year, Marker Seven won the prestigious IMA “Best in Class” honor in the Public Relations Category for its work on the Website for Text 100, a leading global public relations firm.
The Best in Class Award is the highest honor bestowed by the IMA. It represents the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. IMA judges evaluate Website entries based on design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance. In order to earn the Best in Class Award level, a site has to excel in each of these areas, which is an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each year.
The Interactive Media Awards recognize the highest standards of excellence in Website design and development and honor individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievement. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading Web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other Web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet.
