Meagan Timney Joins Marker Seven Team

Marker Seven is proud to introduce Meagan Timney as its newest team member and lead interaction designer. Meagan is responsible for developing user experience and goal-driven design, usability testing, information architecture, content strategy, research, and writing for Marker Seven projects.

Prior to her position at Marker Seven, Meagan earned her PhD in English literature and was a postdoctoral fellow and assistant professor in Digital Humanities in the Electronic Textual Cultures Laboratory at the University of Victoria in Canada.  She has taught for over six years at the university level and stays immersed in her field of study by actively researching and writing articles for digital publishing and book design journals including Philological Quarterly and Literary and Linguistic Computing.

Meagan’s level of experience, knowledge, and dedication to her work is contagious among team members; by setting a new standard for workmanship she has already proven a major asset to the team. We are privileged to have her with us.

Fun fact: With years of experience in competitive gymnastics and Olympic-distance triathlon, Meagan is undoubtedly a stellar athlete. She is currently involved in Crossfit and can do 33 pull-ups in a row!
