Marker Seven Receives IMA Award for CIS VFX Group Website

Marker Seven today announced it received the prestigious “Outstanding Achievement” honor from the Interactive Media Awards (IMA).  The award is in the Entertainment category for the Website for CIS VFX Group, a leading visual effects company with many box office hits to its credit including Angels and Demons, the Changeling, G.I. Joe and Inglorious Basterds.

The award is the second IMA honor for Marker Seven this year. The agency also received the IMA prestigious “Best in Class” honor in the “Web Design/Development Category” for its new Website www.markerseven.com.

”We are honored to receive two IMA awards this year,” said John Clauss, Marker Seven president. “Earning these awards in such different -- although in both cases creative services markets -- indicates our ability to convey a company’s branding and marketing messages whatever they may be, into a powerful presence online.”

The Outstanding Achievement Award is the second highest honor bestowed by the IMA. It represents excellence and accomplishment in design, content, feature functionality, usability and standards compliance and cross-browser capability.

“We chose to work with Marker Seven because the agency understood the vital role our site plays in delivering a simple, potent message to our marketplace,” said Al Walton, Media Director, CIS VFX Group.  “As validated by the IMA award, the agency has the technical expertise that is helping us showcase our core competency online and the brand building capabilities to make sure our message is clear and accessible. We are very excited that Marker Seven earned this prestigious honor through its work on behalf of CIS VFX Group.”
