What's in a Name?

Marker Seven, a buoy off the New Jersey coast, symbolizes security and a safe harbor to fishermen.

Our co-founder, John Clauss, ran a lucrative fishing business over his summers in high school. He would sail 25-30 miles from shore, fish all night, return in the wee hours, and sell the catch to local restaurants.

The conditions were rough, so John would set his sights on the seventh marker. As it came into view, he could breathe a sigh of relief — he was home safe.

Our goal is to provide the same level of comfort and security to our clients.
